Winter in the desert

Yes, that is snow and a saguaro cactus. This is in the Superstition Mountains east of Phoenix. I was really impressed with this storm. This is the most snow I've seen anywhere near Phoenix in the five years I've lived here.

I woke up earlier than usual today because I was bored last night and went to bed early. I am glad I did because I was able to drive out to the mountains and get photos. What a thing to see before moving.
