To Mum and Dad’s. We are going to be busy this weekend.

A180 mile journey, nearly all of it on motorways. Which at the present time, courtesy of Highway England’s “Smart Motorway” programme, is trial by roadworks. And there is always an accident or two.

We needed to stretch our legs and get some fresh air on the last (non motorway) stretch. A skylark was singing as I took this. Which is odd - it’s February. Mind you, sitting in static traffic in one of the roadwork stretches, a butterfly flew past, which even is odder. The seasons seem confused.
