Great to see them again!

Had a great afternoon with JanetH at Formby Red Squirrel Reserve and Sefton Meadows. It is a long time since I have seen so many of these delightful creatures. My children used to love feeding them out of their hands but the population declined severely several years ago and I have been lots of times and not seen any but today we saw 8 or so at the same time darting around. A real challenge to get a sharp image of one - I have lots of blurred streaks or rear ends of several.We ended the day with a celebratory ice cream and then spent time looking over the day's efforts. A great day.
