51/365: Many Moons Ago...

... I was driving steadily along the road in the direction of my sister's house in my Ford Escort (a 1990 blue one) when without warning, the cam belt snapped. Lunch was necessarily delayed while said sister towed me back to my parents where I was staying at the time, between houses. So with replacement belt, woodruff key, valve and head gasket set in hand, I removed and replaced the cylinder head over the coming days. For some reason, I kept the bent valve and found it again recently when clearing out such unnecessary clutter...
