ROAD WORKS.

It’s a lovely sunny day with blue sky's and birds singing. The only problem is we have work men outside our front door and they’re very noisy today. They’re putting a foot path down our road going right to the bottom of the hill. At first I didn’t like the idea because we are in the country and I thought a foot path would spoil it. But it’s beginning to look okay they’ve cut the trees back making it much lighter. And the road is much wider now and hopefully they’ll put lampposts next because it’s very dark when we drive home at night. We just hope they won’t put houses in the field opposite our house but its progress and we can’t stop it.
