Uphill Struggle

The forecast was sunshine and low teens (at least when I checked last night) so we decided to head over to the Pentlands climb Allermuir Hill from Swanston.  We werent alone in heading out to Pentlands and were lucky to get the last car parking spot.   First uphill walk I'd done for a while and could feel it in hamstrings but soon got into stride. What we hadnt reckoned on was the wind - it was blowing a hooley - however we soon reached viewpoint and enjoyed fine views. We returned via Howdeb Glen and Smithy Cleuch (there reakky area some wonderful place names in Pentlands). 

MrT watched the rugby whilst I did some more decluttering.
