Celebration

We were delighted to join an old friend to help her celebrate a significant birthday. She has moved several times over the years, but managed to bring together friends from every phase of her life. I know her from when we started our WI together 49 years ago and it is an enduring friendship - also at the party was the third WI member who was part of the team. It was good for us to get together as now Gwen has moved far away we don't see each other as often.
Gwen was able to hold her party back in this area as her son lives not far away and he and his wife kindly hosted the party for her. Gwen came up from Dorset by taxi, bringing all the prepared food with her. She was always very efficient!
