Estádio Municipal de Braga

Braga Municipal Stadium.
On my morning jog I made my way around the stadium. Except for a few people looking at the spotty field there was not any activity. And any insight as to why these fields have this spotty look, I would love to know.

The stadium is within earshot of our apartment but we have yet to go.
The Portugal championship was decided last month during a cold wet week. 
Braga-Lisbon-Benfica-Sporting squared off and Benfica won during a crazy overtime shootout. We watched on TV.

This is a most impressive place, with a cliff face on my end of the field.
