Fabulous

Full on lovely day. V and I headed off early down to Peebles to do the chocolate/cake course that I got for my birthday from the kids last year. It was really good fun. We made pecan tarts, macarons, two types of friands, and some chocolate/marshmallow teacakes. Three hours of cooking, tasting (especially the chocolate and caramel elements!), coffee drinking and laughing. Great fun.
Then we left our spoils in the fridge and headed along the River Tweed for a lovely walk in the spring sunshine. Beautiful ....crocuses, narcissus, ducks, horses and sheep (no otters) along the way and some amazing views from the top.
Back and had a donder around the shops then headed to The Horseshoe pub on the road home. Delicious steak pie dinner, chatting about the day, and how V's planning to decorate her house, then home whacked out! What a lovely day
