Palliative Care

Magnum has been in thyroid meds for a couple of years now. It’s been inevitable that this would progress at some point (he’s 18 so had a good innings).

Just before Christmas he developed a small lump on his neck, in the last few weeks it’s grown exponentially.

Today he was a bit off so we took him to be checked over. The vet said there’s nothing we can do aside from make sure he’s comfortable. Could be weeks, could be longer.

Typically he perked up this afternoon.
