Cuckmere Haven
I left Rachel's at 8.30am and got home in about 5 hours which wasn't bad for a Saturday morning. I left Cheshire in sunshine, but North of Birmingham the fog started and I drove most of the way in fog but it cleared around London, and by the time I got back to Brighton, there was a clear blue sky and lots of sunshine.
Alan unpacked the car for me, and after a quick bite to eat we drove to Cuckmere Haven for a walk along the river to the beach. It was really mild and felt great to not have to wear a coat - in February! This shot was taken looking inland with the sea behind us, and if you look very closely you can see a group of paragliders in the distance. We saw an Egret catch a mouse of some kind (see my extra), I had no idea they ate mice!
We stopped off at the supermarket on the way home, then called to pick up a Thai takeout and watched The Voice, but I've struggled to stay awake, I think my energy has been zapped this last week! So on that note I'm going to bed. Hope you're having a good weekend.
