GP

Edinburgh to Inverness and back again today, to visit our friend GP, who is dying of liver cancer. Probably the last time we’ll see him, so we said our goodbyes. My face is raw from wiping away the tears. The Highland Hospice is a lovely place though and they are looking after him well. He has his family around him and is not in much pain, just a little discomfort. He seems to be dealing with it all incredibly well.
