Harsh Reality

This lower image is Bo'ness. A mining town where men were men and most of the women were too. It was tough, but when the going gets tough, the tough get moaning.

The upper image is Grangemouth, those gleaming spires, the Casinos, the bars, the Boom Boom Rooms and their painted ladies. It is rumoured to have a Greggs that is open 24/7.  The streets must be paved with gold, all just across that narrow strip of water.

But they built a wall to keep us out. Undaunted,  one day I will make the swim across, it's not too far, favourable tides, following wind and then I will dine with the Gods in Weatherspoon's!  I shall graze on free manna in aisle 4 in Asda.

Until then I have a library book that is overdue. Will this torment never end!
