a Purbeck rarity

...probably the last day of sunshine for the foreseeable and my day was spent driving between various Dorset towns in search of the item that will headline in L's letter to Santa. A decision appears to be gathering form, but tomorrow will be the test.

With only a few minutes to grab something for today's blip, I remembered the small stream that flows over a bed of Preston Grit to cascade onto the beach at Osmington Mills, so we made a quick detour on our way up to Dorchester.

With luck, tomorrow's weather will be better than forecast and, hopefully, Santa will have one less thing to think about...
