A different view

This morning I decided to follow the John Buchan Way the opposite way to usual, towards Peebles. The first couple of miles across the hills were lovely, fantastic views but then it dropped down onto a road - so I bid a return. A 9km run/walk as my lower calf is still feeling a bit sore. It felt a lot better after a water jet pummelling though.

It was off to neighbours in the evening for our first bbq of the year. A great night with plenty of food, wine, tunes and chat in front of the log fire.
