Shadows

Brilliant sunshine again today.  At this time of year, even near midday, the sun is quite low in  the sky, leading to long shadows. It can also be quite blinding - particularly if you wear spectacles: you have to keep spectacle lenses (and camera lenses) scrupulously clean to avoid flare.
