Hawkcraig Point

The old pier at Hawkcraig Point, Aberdour. I've blipped this ruinous pier before when we had lunch at A Room with a View. No such refinement today though what we had at McTaggart's Deli was very good. We headed over to Aberdour quite early this morning. After coffee we had a great beach walk with Flora off her lead for the first time. Walked along to Hawkcraig then back into the village for said lunch. Then another walk with al fresco ice-cream at the Silver Sands beach (extra). This is February, in Scotland, and there were people paddling, dogs swimming, lots of picnickers and people generally enjoying the unaccustomed warmth. Amongst all the stuff I picked up off the beach were a couple of nice bits of pottery and glass to add to the collection.
