Dartford Warbler #20
What a glorious day! 16 degrees in February - wonderful :)
After finding out last night that there was no room on the birding trip I had my eye on, I went to RSPB Arne in search of my first Dartford Warbler and Spoonbills. And although there were only distant views of the spoonies, I did manage to get a passable shot of the Dartford Warbler in the sunshine, even if the sun was not quite in the right place.
It did not hang around for long, especially when two small children excitedly ran in my direction and scared it off. I was a tad disappointed that this was the only one I saw, but a great view all the same. I will return later in the week for another look.
