North Berwick

We spent this morning at the National Botanic Gardens - our first visit there. It’s a much bigger site than we’d antticipated with a very impressive series of Glasshouses with loads of tropical plants. The alpine collection was also impressive as were the scones in the tea room.
In the afternoon we drove down to North Berwick and had a walk on the beach. It’s an area I visited as a kid on our summer caravanning holidays but this was my first visit back in around 50 years.
