There wasn't a breath of wind when I set off for a post work walk at 9a.m.
Did a lovely 5mile loop taking in the canal and nature reserve. Had an interesting conversation with two guys from the BTO who were out to do some bird ringing. Shame I couldn't have stayed longer and watched them setup.
Managed to wash the car (least favourite job in the world?!) and put up a bird nest box in the garden and even sat out with my lunch before having to lie down to, successfully, fend off a migraine that was looming.

Best moment of the day : listening to and watching a large flock of redwings in the trees at the nature reserve.
