Bee magnet

Had chance for a quick walk around campus in a gap between meetings. Didn't have long enough to get to the Harris Gardens but I did spot this patch of mahonia in full flower. There were lots of bees, small and huge fluffy ones, buzzing around the blooms. They seem to be in need of any food source now that the days are getting warmer. 

Went to the gym after work, 15 minutes on the cross trainer, ran for 3,3k and then had a quick swim. The run felt good - much easier on the treadmill than on the road. 

Made a huge stir-fry with tofu for tea and then tried to stay awake in order to pick up S from the station after a night out with colleagues in Basingstoke.
