Spring blanket

What a beautiful spring day today.  After starting the day with a thick fog the sun burnt through by 10.  I had another go at the hawthorn hedge.. it takes time not to be punctured through and so there is more to be done another day but the big stuff is gone ... phew!!  
These lovely crocus look beautiful today and were covered in bees although l don't think there are any in this picture. Over the years these are multiplying and l am amused to see the rise in the ground caused by our ever growing oak tree under which these are planted.
