Slow start after late night last night. Went to see Adam Kaye:This is Going to Hurt. He's a very funny guy but there were sad bits especially at the end. If you've read the book you'll know what I'm talking about. He still obviously found it hard to talk about 10 years later. As well as reading out bits of his book, he had made up medical themed words to loads of famous songs which he bashed out on his keyboard. V funny.
After dog walk no 1 (I stayed home to sort mounds of washing) I took Eva to the yard. We planned to hack out but as we descended towards Swithland village we also entered heavy fog. Was blue skies and sunshine at home! So we went in the school instead. Eva did more poles. She's getting better everyday, just need to work on her confidence as he always gets quicker. At the end of the session he got off and I lunged him over a jump. He loved it and looked really happy to be jumping.
This arvo we did a quick lap on bikes at Hicks Lodge. We got back after the cafe had closed and Eva had a melt down that she wasn't going to get any Ice cream. She kept asking me to go and bang on the door.
So we have nearly got through the first of one of the saddest days of the year for us. Ten years is a long time, but it still never leave us.
