Day 1490 -054

When I came back from the morning dog walk, it was so warm so I hovered in the garden for a bit and I spotted a strange looking bee.  It was massive. About the length of my thumb. It rested on the wall and when I came back out armed with my camera it flew away!  Typical!

So, it was off to the pub for the rugby this afternoon and a wee drink in town afterwards!

Then we heard a buzzing in the bathroom...  low and behold one of those bees!  We caught it and popped it outside.  Rubbish photo as it was dark but its a beautiful thing!  Apparently it was first found in the UK in 2001 and only reached the south of Scotland in 2013!
