Eco again
The sculpture, Eco, by French artist Marc Didou, was acquired by Queen's University Belfast in 2008 to both mark the centenary of Queen's as well as the opening of the new McClay library. I love it and have photographed it many times. This time in wide angle.
Marc Didou is a Breton sculptor, winner of the Michetti Prize in 2005, with many solo and group exhibitions in Europe and elsewhere. Since the 1990s he has used MRI scanning as a new medium for sculpture. The sculpture emits quiet water noises!
Street art is now commonplace in the place I call home. I am beginning to appreciate it!
