Finding Some Sun

After a cool night and morning it warmed up a bit this afternoon. We had a few showers overnight and this morning. There wasn't as much rain as expected. This afternoon with the clearing sky we got some sunshine. This Jockey's cap lily Tigridia Pavonia started to open up. They only flower for one day.


Last night we went into the city to see the Chinese Lantern Festival. It is the first time it have been back in the city centre since the earthquakes. We were lucky to get around it all before a shower or rain arrived. We both enjoyed it.
