Day 347 - Dashing...............

A very busy day today. Starting with burning the shower out this morning, then getting the 7 am train to Kings cross (just) to discover that my kindle was dead :(

Had to get better :0)

Figured I'd have 30 mins to spare before the meeting started so I'd get to have a quick mooch round the shops. Having lost 4 pairs of gloves in a week thought I could treat myself but nope some technical delay left me sat outside kings cross for half an hour.

Then a quick dash onto Victoria line. This is where it gets better as I actually walked out the station in the right direction. Having never been before it was a guess, yes I could have looked at a map. I could have printed a map too if I'd been prepared. Its not like I dont spend most of my day looking at maps or anything!!!! That would have been the sensible thing to do but why make things easy for yourself ;) By sheer luck I went the right way, yay!!! Have to be thankful for something :0)

Finally arriving here at the National Audit Office. Such a stunning building. As I was walking down Buckingham Palace Road I could see it in the distance and was hoping it was where I was going. GeoPlace have moved into Ordnance Surveys head office and share this building with National Audit. I would love to work here. As I was looking round I saw so many blip opportunities. Annoyingly the meeting got in the way.

It was a very long intense meeting with no breaks and no escaping. It then over ran which meant another dash back to the tube then the train. Fed up of dashing. I did make it though with 2 minutes to spare! Really don't like cutting things so fine. Anyhow I'm finally home and chilling.
