Vietnamese two banded Tiger Spider
No it's not, but what is it then all you insecticides out there?
Uneventful evening, followed by an equally uneventful morning today. Weaher was again crap, 13 degC, with mist as thick as our current crop of polititians.
We therefore cancelled our planned repeat of yesterday’s walk (Not our plan- the lazy b’stard of a guide’s plan) and stayed in our accommodation until lunch time.
Following fodder, it was off up the road to Hanoi. Did I say ‘’road’’? More a track / work in progress and potential suicide / murder venue. However, we made it, and parted company with our driver and our guide. What sweet relief.
Now settled in our final night’s vietnamese accommodation, a Hometay in a lane off a lane up a close behind some shops. Somewhere The Donald and Rocketman will not see this week. Yeahh!
The Spider was the only thing snapped today, well not quite true. I forgot to put AF back on, having used manual focusing for the arachnoid thus rendering the travelling rural stuff useless.
Up, Up and away tomorrow morning for our flight to Luang Prabang, Laos, from where our next epistle will emanate.
Out now to explore a new old area of Hanoi so if anything is worth it, I’ll stick it in extras, beside the bed ;-)
PS: Does anyone out there know precisely the purpose of the 4 white spring like thingys?
PPS: Added view of Ho Hoan lake, from 5th floor balcony of Avalon, a restaurant .
