Harisen drove the 400 km down to Lilongwe Airport and picked him about 1.30 pm.

They then drove the 200 km North to Kasungu where they set about installing a pump close to the main road. The original pump was installed by some other organisation, it failed, which is a pretty regular occurrence. Kevin saw it on his way to the airport before Christmas and this was our first time back.

The arrival time in Mzuzu should be about 6 but they didn't arrive until 10.30, 36 hours after leaving Edinburgh.
