Newtown Sunrise

Much less fog around first thing this morning.  I took a leisurely walk across the estate to the local fields to enjoy the sunrise.

This time I put up the drone to get a different perspective on the local farmland.  As I've mentioned before, we live in a relatively flat area so getting some separation in the scene can be difficult.  Getting the camera up higher helped and it was interesting to watch the mist thicken for a time after sunrise due to radiation moisture rising, before the warmth of the sun burnt it away.

Then off to the gym and by the time we walked out to come home it was a pleasant 17 deg C (according to the car's external thermometer).  We ordered some wallpaper on the way home (not cheap when we realised we needed 15 rolls!).  There'll be some work to do before those are all used.
