Mono Monday - Down to the wire

I spotted these wires the other day and whenI saw that today's MM theme was "Down to the Wire" I had to blip it

This is a telegraph pole at the end of our road distributing the final few metres from our shiny new Fibre Broadband box to the houses by copper wire.  I suppose people used to talk down these wires in days gone by.  Now it's mostly data.
