Stoney Cross

On way back to Heathrow we drove around Stoney Cross. No sign any more of the old runways. Apparently the last main remnants were dug up last year, which is a pity as the runways were a reminder of a time gone by. The outline can however still be seen on satellite photos.

Not sure which I prefer, the B&W or the colour shot.
