Beach walk.

This image was actually taken yesterday, but since i already uploaded my painting, and today there's a blizzard going on and i'm not going into the studio.....i thought i'd cheat a bit!

We ended up going down to Englishtown beach, not too far from us, to have a bit of a walk.   The sun was awesome and the temps said about -3C so that's not too bad!   but oh my god, of course on the beach the wind was blowing a bit and it was definitely a bit too chilly....even for Terry who is usually way more stoic that i can be!   We did walk for about half an hour but then returned to the warmth of the car, drove around the long way, instead of returning by ferry.....such a classic thing to do, a Sunday drive!   We finished it off down by the bay, looking out over the Atlantic ocean, wine, crackers and cheese in the car, all very wonderful!

Today is a fasting day.....just made a big pot of yummy vegetable soup!!!
