I'm ususlly a fairly relaxed person...

...and I can often let deadlines run down to the wire...
Roy, on the other hand, isn't...so I've learned to cope with being early for everything...
Anyway - I was early for my appointment at the optician's today - 3 months early to be precise. When I rang up to arrange it, she said "Is there a REASON you want to book in early?" I really wanted to reply "the usual - I can't see very well"  but I restrained myself... I've been peering a bit at the computer lately, so I thought I needed to go, and my favourite glasses are falling apart too! When we arrived - early - I wasn't on the system... and the optician we visit is a quite a way away so I was prepared to use my unfortunate voice if necessary... As it happened, they did all the pre-tests and got me in to see the optician very quickly ;) 
Two pairs of glasses chosen, different varifocal lenses recommended to create a widening of the middle range seeing bit of the glasses, and a much lighter purse ensued...
Fingers crossed I'm picking them up next week - so I thought some of the styles on offer would be appropriate for my blip today... 
I said thumbs down to the wire ones, and have chosen two plastic frames in different colours ;)
