Blue cranes

A moving on day.  We had a longish drive to our next base, in Cradock.  But having seen the Cango Caves yesterday, we had a full day for driving.  Which meant we could stop when we saw something interesting. 

I've some blurry photos of what I believe to be a pale chanting goshawk.  And we spotted what may be an anteating chat singing in the top of a tree.  

In extras is a small tortoise spotted beside a pool of water.  And towards the end of the day, we saw this group of blue cranes.

We also saw a number of buck, but no photos today.

We stopped for coffee and cake in Willowmore, at a lovely idiosyncratic cafe and antique shop - bunnies in cages, dismembered mannequins, painted window, old battered teapot, all in extras.
