Little boys

This years young jakes are running wild. They seen so skinny to me compared to the other turkeys I see around. There were 5 in this group. We have seen flocks of 30 or more older jakes and toms on the farm. Some large long beards. There are large flocks of hens also. I love seeing them. Their color in the bright sun light compares to nothing else.
The storm knocked the power out. Ours is back on but the first neighbor past us and the others past them are out until at least the 28th of Feb.  We took ice and water out to them, there is not much more we can do right now.
