Gorgeous blue sky this afternoon. I haven't done anything to this photo except crop a bit off. Hundreds of bunches of lemon coloured catkins on the contorted hazel looking so pretty in the February sun. I bought this tree a few years ago - it was supposed to be a dwarf version but we have to trim it back every year. It's about 12 feet tall at the moment. It does produce hazelnuts but unfortunately the squirrels get them before Mr I.
