Winter Sun

Mid afternoon, a sunny day, fairly comfortable around 32F.

I liked this small tree leaning into the frame against a backdrop of orange stalks, lit up in the low sun. The foreground snow is nicely broken up by contrasting cooler shadows raking across the scene and a few animal tracks fill an otherwise empty lower left corner.

In the background, the tall trees are softer with less contrast, aiding a feeling of recession to the image.
