I'm deeply saddened by the last three days. The director of the Kolomyian Young Tourists' Club was buried today. He and another guy died in a climbing accident on Mount Pip Ivan on February 22. It was a group of experienced hikers and climbers (an ordinary training climb!), and this man was one of the most experienced among them.

It's a tragic story of unintended consequences ... On that day, the weather deteriorated sharply, a gale began (108 km / h); air temperature dropped to -20 ° C, visibility was zero.

I knew this man a little, I respected him for his experience, responsibility and thoroughness. In September, we participated in a joint hike in the Carpathian Mountains with schoolchildren.

His pupils loved him very much. (( He has trained many young people for many years.
