I wish I could share the smell of these narcissus, which are such a part of Kurdish Spring. Oh dear, another plural spelling query (narcissus/narcissi). Our next door neighbours have just got themselves a new daughter-in-law who lives with them and who I really enjoy spending time with. This evening she popped over to ask Little J to go to the shop to buy something for the cakes she was baking. He was given these for me as a thank you! Little J is extremely useful for sending to the shops on his bike when we're short of something. And he likes doing it.
