Happy Anniversary

How long have Sarah and I been together. Was it since !st May 1997 on a glorious spring day when Tony Blair declared ' A new dawn has broken has it not?'.Well it was for us even if Blair turned out a bit of a disappointment. Or was it 8th October 2004 when circumstances finally enabled us to move in together in our terraced house in south Manchester. Or was it 6 years ago when we were finally married in the Pankhurst Room in Manchester's Registry Office. It was an extra delight to find Emmeline Pankhurst had been the City's chief registrar as well as suffragette, although as a female she was not allowed to conduct weddings. ,So 23rd February was cause for a celebratory meal at newly opened The Allotment Vegan Eatery,followed by a nightcap or 2 at the Vine Pub, a fine city centre hostelry (extra) which was where we also held our rather shambolic wedding reception, though with a free bar people idnt seem to mind too much. The vegan restaurant is highly recommended by the way.
