Branch lines and Raindrops

I didn't have much time today and it was teeming with freezing rain, so I used a long lens from a window to get this shot. Not the most inspiring subject, more of practicing technique - give the lens time to settle to avoid motion blur. Perhaps my tripod and head are a little light for this lens. Ahhg! I just realised I left image stabilization on. That wouldn't help.

I used a slight split toning, in reverse to the usual application, by cooling the highlights (snow) and warming the shadows (trees).
