Luminous Laranjas
Taken early this morning on our outdoor table, the oranges Ermelinda's Mum gave me, a lot sweeter than ours, maybe because they're well watered? Like a lot of houses in town, they have their own borehole, and don't use the town's chlorinated supply.
More dental work for me, and bank tasks. Mike's taken down the electricity cable, all underground now. Happy with that, all these picturesque Alentejano towns ruined (photographically) by thick cables draped everywhere.
High today was 25°C, going down to 7° tonight. Bare legs in the day, wood burner on now. They say it's happened before, but does seem strange for February.
(Oh, and did no-one notice the footballer yesterday?? And, thanks for every star and heart, and for commenting, love reading them.)
Gratefuls:
- coming home late last night and seeing a wide sky above the castle filled with constellations
- opening the door to sparkling morning light
- generosity
