Ripples and Ridges

First, I must thank everyone for putting a smile on my face yesterday for being so generous with your kind words on my blip anniversary.  Anyone who wishes to make new friends and keep in touch with old, should pick up a camera and join blipfoto.  You're the best!

It's the last Tiny Tuesday of the month, and I absolutely had to find a suitable image.  It's not always easy on a cold winter day.  My husband gave me a hand by looking for shells at the beach. This was his find.  When looking at it so closely it struck me how the lines and ridges remind me of its source - the ocean waves and grains of sand.  There is certainly something magical about the sea.
