Edinburgh in the sunshine

Lovely trip on the train to Edinburgh and lunch with a young friend to celebrate her birthday.

In the sunshine it was hard to believe it was February especially when we think what it was like at this time last year.

I enjoyed a walk along Princes Street gardens while Mrs AMK visited shops.  The war memorial of The Royal Scots Greys features in the blip and one of the extras - as we walked back along George Street after lunch the other extra shows the construction cranes seeming so modern beside all the old buildings.

6 years ago today I published my first blip but I am afraid they have been anything but daily - I do try when I am on holiday or on days out like today !
