Friendship

In darkness and light, in the bitter cold and gentle warmth, I drift upon life's ocean. The little vessel that is me cast upon calm or savage seas, it does not matter which, for I have the most blessed crew to help me. An early visit with my bestest mate (my Life Brother as I think of him) for a cup of Earl grey this morning, had me thinking of all the people that I share this journey with. Some I seldom see, some on a daily basis, some I only know across the world as names on a screen....but friends we are.

In my darkest times a hand from these people has come from the pitch to guide me...and in the more frequent lighter times my laughter and theirs has danced together to the very corners of the world. Upon high mountain and low valley my feet and theirs have trod, making magical memories that bind our lives together. The light that fills my heart when I see them reflected in the warmth of their smiles for me.

It is with such companions that I dedicate today's blip...for no other reason than I bare such love for them and this life.
