Cherry pips

This morning I spent an hour and a half taking the pips out of 3 kilos of cherries. They are macerating nicely to be bottled tomorrow. (I did leave 1kg fresh for the kids to eat). Good news from our neighbours tonight- although they are (unfortunately) moving house tonight after 4 years, they have let us know that the new buyers are a lovely young couple (a school teacher even!)
