She's here!

Annie has taken a liking to my lap! She's not fully settled yet, and has yet to eat much, or make use of her tray, but she has decided that in this new and strange world she's entered, my lap us a secure spot.

This is all well and good, but I need to eat!

She's discovered a hiding place on the "gallery" at the top of my staircase. I just wish she wouldn't poke herself through the rails: it's a full-height drop!
