It was my boss’s memorial service today, it was very nice although quite a surprise he wasn’t there- he loved a good gathering. Lots of great stories and photos. He went to help fishermen after the 2004 tsunami and bought them a boat and everything. Never knew that until today. Plus, he used to have hair which was a surprise. A marvellous man who lived life to the absolute full, here in his beloved Iceland - he used to go on fishing trips there and bring 15 salmon home with him. We are a very sad company at the moment but today was a great celebration of his life. Stupidly we went back to work and then wondered why we hadn’t stayed longer and got very drunk, it is what he would have wanted.
