Nailcote Hall Hotel Frontage

As I was passing anyway this morning, I thought I would trespass once again and show you the Hall that the bus that I posted a few days ago belongs to.

Nailcote Hall was built in 1640. It was home to the Lant family for over 300 years. Over the centuries it has been restored and altered. When restoration work was carried out recently, a priest hole was discovered between the Oak Room restaurant and the hall showing that the Lants must have been a Roman Catholic family. In 1780 the house was altered and the Georgian wing was added.
